Week six weigh in!

Hello!
Am I already at week 6/day 43?!? I'm getting so close! Because I'm so close to the end, you guys don't get a picture update until day 60! I will however continue to weigh in and give you measurements. Today I weighed in at 156. That is 3lbs down from last Monday and 29 pounds down total.

Measurements:
(-lost in past 2 weeks, lost total)

Arms: 11in (-1/4, -3/4)
Bust: 40in (-1, -4)
Underbust: 31in (-1/2, -6)
Gut: 38in (-2,-6)
Waist: 37in (-1,-6)
Thighs: 21in (-1,-5)
Calves: 14in (-0,-1)

(Counting each arm and leg) that's a total of 35.5 inches lost. 7 of those inches in the past two weeks.

This week I went for 3 runs. They were each at least a mile long. I'm averaging at a 12 minute mile. I signed up for a 5k on September 29th called the graffiti run. This means I need to train really hard! I'd like to be running 2 miles by the end of this week.

I bought all of my produce at Central market this weekend. I was expecting it to cost a little more than I usually spend in a week, but it was actually about $15 less. On top of that I got a natural mud mask and coconut tea. All of my produce looked so fresh and smelled great. I'm about to juice to see how they taste.

Central market really got me ready for solid food! It gave me some inspiration for good vegan recipes. After my fast I'm going to maintain a mostly vegan diet. It's really the healthiest way to live. I'll still drink a lot of juice along with other raw foods. Most of the food I eat will be raw (uncooked/unprocessed), but I'll probably eat 1 cooked meal a day. If anyone has ever transitioned off a juice fast and has some advice on what to eat the first few days, I'm all ears.

I almost forgot!!! I passed my exam to become a certified phlebotomist (I can draw blood from a vein). I mentioned in earlier entries how I've been losing sleep over this exam. I'm now a certified phlebotomist. I'm now sleeping like a rock!

I get a lot of people reaching out to me with questions. I'm always here to help, but please read my FAQ and advice section. If you still have questions, be sure to ask me, so I can add it to my FAQ section.

You guys are awesome. Thank you for all of your love and support. I'm almost done, and couldn't have gotten this far without you.

XoXo Hay

  1. The first thing I do with my Monday morning coffee is check Haley's blog. Good work! You are still losing those inches right where you want to lose them. It is the rare person that can endure to the end. You are doing it. Keep your eye on the prize :-)
