Week 5!

Hello!

So I've made it to day 36! I don't have a lot to report on this week; not much has changed. I'm now down 26lbs weighing in at 159. I feel great and I'm starting to think I look great too!

This weekend I went to Old Navy and searched their clearance section because nothing fits me anymore. I found 3 shirts that I bought in MEDIUMS! I'm no longer buying extra large! That is such a good feeling. I also had to get a new bra this week. I've gone from a 42DD to a 36D. This is the only number I hope doesn't keep shrinking ;)

I pretty much have a steady 2/3 types of juices that I make. I switch it up every now and then, but I use the same base ingredients. I'm still drinking tons and tons of water.

It seems like my weight loss per week has slowed down some more; I'm actually okay with this. I'm still making progress, and that is nothing to shake a stick at.

Keith tells me that I have to let you all know that I "cheated". Whatever, I don't even think it's cheating. Keith bought some dried goji berries (we can't seem to find fresh ones). I ate one. They are half the size of a raisin; I don't think that is going to throw off my fast. I also licked some fresh guacamole off my finger, but it wasn't a solid and I didn't have to chew it. Also, I don't think that is "cheating", but Keith says I have to spill my guts, so there ya go. Please don't take away my birthday.

I also lied to you guys last week. I told you I was going to start working out, but it turns out that I'm lazy. I justify this by telling you that I'm under a lot of stress right now due to a huge exam that I take this Friday to get my phlebotomy certification (vampire license). This has been keeping me awake at night, so I usually sleep when I get the chance. Someone come make me get off my butt and work out!

For anyone who is looking for some recipes for a healthy life style or they need some gluten free recipes check out Mackenzie Maxwell's blog (my sister). Mackenzie, my mom, and myself all have an auto immune deficiency called celiacs disease. We can't have gluten (wheat, barley, rye, oats). Mackenzie has made some wonderful recipes that she would like to share with the world. Her recipes are also helpful for those of us that will be transitioning off of a juice fast.

I would like to give a shout out to my friend from high school, Laura Slate, and her girlfriend for beginning their own 30 day juice fast! They want to shed a few pounds and detox! They also quit smoking!

If you have any questions always feel free to email me (healthyhaley60@gmail.com). I also put up a FAQ page as well as a Recipe page, and Fact, tips, and advice.

You guys have no idea how much motivation and inspiration you give me every single day. Thank you so much for that!

XoXo Hay
